One more day in Spokane and another opportunity to reconnect with an old friend.  My friend Heather, from high school, and her husband, Mike, drove up from Lake Oswego, Oregon, this morning and came to visit us this afternoon.  I haven't seen Mike since their wedding, almost 13 years ago.  And, I haven't seen Heather since I was pregnant with Katie.  We had a nice quiet chat, catching up, while Katie napped.  We got Katie up so that they could meet her before we got ready to go to church. 

Katie wore the most adorable dress to church tonight.  Black velvet top with cream roses at the neck, a cream skirt and bows front and back.  We got to church early in order to run through our song a couple times before the service.  While we waited for the service to begin, Katie spun around "dancing" in her dress.  Precious:)  We waited until after the the service to eat left over chicken casserole and fruit for our dinner.
